Games & Lunch Hour

Please read this page carefully as we are easily overwhelmed with questions and can be slow to respond.

DESCRIPTION
Games & Lunch hour is a great opportunity for your kids to socialize with others in a fun and safe atmosphere. One thing we regret with our other classes is that they don’t include time for students to get to know one another well, so this year, no only have we lengthened the time before classes (for visiting), but have also included the Games & Lunch hour on the schedule as a formal part of our offerings.

We have Foosball, Chinese Checkers, Chess, Checkers, and a few other games, and we encourage you to bring your own board games. The games are not supervised, but are rather a “free play” time. Mr. Pelham (and likely, a couple of other adults) will be present, as will several older students. So we don’t expect things to become unruly.

We have a large refrigerator for your lunch if you’re one of the students in the Kids’ Choir (that meets before the Games & Lunch hour. You bring the lunch. We have a modest “kitchen” with a sink and a few dishes, and we ask that you clean up after yourself. We also have a microwave and a toaster oven.
